VSP (Visual and Sound Play) Curriculum for Level 3 (Ages 11–14 months)

Subject Area: Visual and Sound Play (VSP)  

Goal: To stimulate the child's sensory development by enhancing visual tracking, light/dark awareness, sound recognition, cause-effect understanding, and object permanence.

Structure: 4 days a week for 16 weeks  

Divided into:  

- Semester 1: Weeks 1–8  

- Semester 2: Weeks 9–16

Week 1

- Visual Play: Bright Color Flashcards (primary colors)  

- Sound Play: Baby Shaker Toys  

- Focus: Eye focus + sound response  

- Highlight: Follow the rattle game

Week 2

- Visual Play: Light & Shadow Wall Display  

- Sound Play: Gentle Wind Chimes  

- Focus: Visual curiosity + natural sound  

- Activity: Track shadows & point

Week 3

- Visual Play: Mirror Wall Interaction  

- Sound Play: Name Calling + Echo Game  

- Focus: Self-recognition + sound localization  

- Tool: Non-breakable mirror panel

Week 4

- Visual Play: Flashlight Beam Chase (in dim room)  

- Sound Play: Call-and-Response Song  

- Song: “Where Are You?” tune  

- Focus: Visual tracking + active listening

Week 5

- Visual Play: Color-Sorting Cups  

- Sound Play: Bell Tapping

- Focus: Object recognition by color & pitch  

- Activity: Match sound to color (optional)

Week 6
