Proverbs 22:6
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it..."
Welcome to the first of the Pre-K programs. This is the very first classroom of the Little Lad's Home School.
Ages: Below 2 years.
Duration: Until 2 years.
This phase of the school program, is of utmost importance! Again, Education is not a set of books and subjects, the Education of a child, any child, every child, is so constrained! Yes! It is constrained not to the intellectual capacity of the Educator, not to the efficiency of the curriculum, the modern man is proof of all these! We have highly advanced curriculum, educational programs have not been as much, as spelt out, as goal oriented and even researched upon as in this last hour of the last days, yet, look what we have for the product of it- a world just ripe for God's final judgement, completely void of common human instincts, the beastly nature of educated and civilized men in this age, is a warning sign, for the Christian Home Educator, the testimony is simple: "the work of Training a child Up, does not begin with the Child, it begins with the Educator!" You and I certainly cannot give what we do not have, Never! The answer does not lie in the curriculum, nor in our skillfulness to deliver (teach) our lessons, no! The answer as so clearly portrayed in the scripture is:
Romans 6:16
"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"
If I, as an Educator is yielded to the Spirit of Christ, then, I shall be apt to teach the child(ren) in the power of the Holy Spirit! The outcome: my work will be spiritual, and by God's grace, there is hope for a spiritual fruit: a fruitful learning, unto profit for life, and yes, especially at this age of the Child(ren)! But if I am only teaching howbeit, an A B C sing along, yet, in the power of my soul, in the energies of my flesh, it is not only on the final day, when all works be tried by fire, that it shall be shown, that my work is made of hay, stubble or wood, even now, in this life time, the fruits of my work, will be characterized by the stench of death! Thus, we see, how utmost in importance the very life of the Home Educator is! The training up of the child begins from the Educators life! It can not be over emphasized! Our lives must be fruitful in Christ! Here is where it all begins!
The Pre-K Curriculum is given below, we must bear in mind, this home school is still a work in progress, therefore, the curriculum listed here is by no means a finished work, it is still in process, very much so, yet if we are willing, God is able to do abundantly above all we ask or imagine according to the power that works within us.
