Semester 1 — Weeks 1–8: Foundations of Tonal Awareness

Week 1:  

• Welcome Song & Vocal Warm-ups  

• “Pitch Buddies” – Low & High sound matching with animal toys  

• Introduction to Solfa (Do-Re-Mi) in Call & Response  

Week 2: 

• Echo Singing – 1-note pitch imitation  

• Color-coded pitch cups (Do-Mi-So)  

• “Up & Down” pitch game (movement + melody)

Week 3:

• Bell Sounds Recognition (Pitch ID)  

• Singing with picture cards (matching faces to tone)  

• Quiet Listening Practice – identifying highest sound  

Week 4: 

• Tonal Puzzle Play – arranging sounds by pitch  

• Sound vs Silence awareness  

• “Sing What You Hear” – vocal copy of simple tunes  

Week 5:

• 3-Tone Song Play (Do-Mi-So variations)  

• Basic Pitch Memory Exercise (Which one is missing?)  

• Matching pitch to instrument: Tone bells + voice  

Week 6:

• Pitch “Catch & Throw” Game (soft ball movement + vocal pitch)  

• Mirror Pitch Matching with teacher  

• Soft Keyboard Play – Finding "Do"

Week 7: 

• Pitch Walk Game (ascending/descending floor steps)  

• Sing-along with tonal syllables  

• Soft scale exploration with xylophone
