Subject Area: MSE – Motor Skills Encouragement

Goal: Support early motor development through simple, structured physical activities that improve coordination, balance, reflexes, and muscle tone—while maintaining joyful, stress-free interaction.

- Hands & Fingers Time (Fine motor focus)

- Object Manipulation Time (Balls, rings, blocks)

Week 1

- Arm lifts: Left vs Right

- Finger play: “Itsy Bitsy Spider”

- Rolling soft balls

- Clap in tempo: Adagio

Week 2

- Leg stretches: Tickle-toes

- Finger curls and taps

- Color ring stacking

- Pat knees rhythmically

Week 3

- Reach & grab: Toy extension play

- Thumb and finger grips

- Soft cube throw & fetch

- Stomp-to-beat game

Week 4

- Crawl races (short distance)

- Open–close palm exercises

- Roll a ball back and forth

- Arm sway to music

Week 5

- Sit-stand support practice

- Point and touch game (body parts)

- Drop-in-the-basket (large buttons)

- March-in-place to beat

Week 6

- Assisted wall hold and squat

- “Finger Touch” mirror game

- Hand-size sponge squeeze

- Side tap footwork with rhyme

Week 7

- Rolling & rocking (mats)

- Stick & poke with color shapes

- Grip and shake toys

- Imitate-the-beat (with tambourine)

Week 8

- Crawl tunnel play

- Thread-a-large-bead (supervised)
