Introduction
Patterns are all around us.
Children see patterns in:
- Clothes
- Nature
- Music
- Shapes
- Colors
- Numbers
- Daily routines
Learning patterns helps children:
- Think logically
- Predict what comes next
- Develop early mathematics skills
- Improve observation skills
- Prepare for algebra and sequencing later
This handbook introduces simple repeating and growing patterns for Kindergarten 2 learners.
