The LLHS Reading Program begins with SIGHT WORDS:

000. Little Lads Sight words:

The Reading Program for Grade 1 is a continuation of the Kindergarten Program, therefore, starting from something revisional, we reintroduce Sight Words.

The Sight Words for each Semester should be printed out in flash cards, each word to a flash card; the sight Words are picked out of the various reading texts for the semester. The Pupils should learn the Words independently with the Sight Words Educators.

During Reading Sessions, the Pupils must have seen the words of the respective texts on the individual sight words flash cards.

Reading Sight Words- Exercises to be via the Cards on the Learning Wall, Flash Cards, etc.

Identify And Read Aloud Sight Words: Exercises From Flash Cards and Written on the Marker Board.

Reading And Identifying Numbers 1-200: Using Flash Cards. 1-100 should be understudied, then 101-200 introduced afterwards.
